Let’s keep these tips frank!

Try not to drop pins 📌, they will find their way into someone’ foot.
👟 Always wear shoes in your sewing room. This is very important if you have been diagnosed with sensory peripheral neuropathy (reduced sensation in feet).
If you aren’t lucky enough to have a sewing room, sew on a hard surface and vacuum the floor after sewing.

🔎 Poor eyesight? No excuse, use a magnifying glass to search for pins after sewing.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If they don’t already know, tell your household members that there might be pins on the floor. If they have been needle bitten once, they will be twice shy and go put shoes on. Surround yourself with pin cushions so you aren’t tempted to put them elsewhere.
