Cecilia Brennan

Podiatrist

I always knew that I would end up in the health professional world. Helping others by improving their health and quality of life provides one with meaning and self-worth. Podiatry may seem like a peculiar choice to most, but to me it offers a vast career and future. A podiatrist gets to treat the very young to the very old. All aspects of foot health are covered including skin & toenail conditions, pain & injuries and foot conditions resulting from chronic diseases such as diabetes.

I grew up in the Riverina, NSW, and relocated to Melbourne to study podiatry at La Trobe University. After 2 years in Horsham, Victoria, I moved to Canberra and worked at a multidisciplinary practice gaining further appreciation for my health professional peers.

Outside of work, you will find me exploring Canberra, sailing, volunteering, gardening and cooking up a storm with a special interest in preserves.

My mission is to resolve the foot, ankle and lower leg concerns of the Canberra & surrounding community in a personable and collaborate environment. I believe a collaborate approach to health care produces great health outcomes. I will listen and work with you, your other health care providers and associates to help you achieve your health and lifestyle goals.

My personal professional vision is to be the Podiatrist you want to recommend to your family and friends. For the first time in 2021, Cecilia consulted her first 4th generation in the same family, she was thrilled to provide podiatry care to a great grandfather/grandfather/father, grandfather/son/father, daughter/grand-daughter/mother and a son/grandson/great grandson. A little confusing but it really demonstrates that Cecilia really loves treating the whole family.
